What is The Ottawa Project? Well, it’s an idea I’ve had for some time, now. I’ve always been fascinated by cities, and I think that Ottawa is terrificly underrated when people think of Canada’s urban areas. Ottawa is seen as a stuffy, bureaucratic, frozen government town where nothing much of anything goes on, but this isn’t the reality. Ottawa is a vibrant, exciting and growing city, and there’s much more to it than just Parliament, museums and government offices. While the city naturally has it’s own problems and issues, as any city, major or minor, does, the positive elements are often overlooked.
My goal with this blog is to showcase Ottawa through phototours and posting about lesser known aspects of the city. I also plan on commenting on news and issues affecting the city, especially pertaining to public transit, as that is of particular interest to me.
I hope you enjoy The Ottawa Project!
